The Albanian government has announced that a commemorative bath plug is to be issued honouring the memory of Norman Wisdom who died earlier this week.
In a press interview, Albania's foreign minister said "The death of Mr Pitkin was a terrible blow to all Albanians. He gave so much joy to us that we wanted to do something to mark his passing".
The special black polyethylene bath plug inscribed with the words "Pitkin you gave us hope" is to be shared amongst the people of Albania, and will be allotted to individual homes on a day to day basis.
The first lucky user will be Mrs Freda Cortina who said "God bless our glorious government, and God bless Pitkin. I am on the waiting list to use the district bath plug in four years time, but now I can bathe tomorrow and won't smell of piss anymore".
