It can only be presumed as Mother Nature's ultimate joke. The world's biggest ice chunk broke loose from Greenland last month, traveled down the Nares Straight, also known in geographical circles as the ice chute, and ran smack dab against Joe's Island, nicknamed Margarita Isle.

No one was really surprised on the island, said Sally TickleTusk, a long-time Inuit resident. "We'd been hoping for something like this for years. As far as frozen margaritas go, ours have held the North Atlantic Tropical Showdown title now for about a decade, but we were getting a tad worried with the threat of global warming and all that we might not be able to hold onto the title much longer, and then this ice appears out of nowhere. It's as close to a sign from God as anything," she said.

The other three residents on Margarita Isle were equally elated. "We're a small island, about the size of a Volkswagen, but we're fiercely proud of our margarita title," claims Harold TickleTusk, Mayor of the city of Lime. "It is all coming together like some great cosmic show of force. The smallest place on the planet now has the biggest reason to party its ass off."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
