A cleaner came close to being the latest taste sensation in the sausage world. The guy narrowly avoided being minced into sausage after a mishap in the United States, after he was sucked into a machine at his employers sausage-making company.
The "mishap" happened as he was cleaning the vacuum-type machine that is used to season the meat at the sausage factory in Massachusetts.
This part isn't for the faint hearted, Police said the man's head and shoulders became stuck in the machine after it somehow activated while being cleaned.
Just before becoming close to being Sausage Man the guy was freed from the machine.
Now, I'd need more than a change of shorts after that, but this guy truly is a super sausage, showing no obvious sign of trauma, but was taken to a hospital as a precaution. (Come on, trauma? I'd be taking as many sedatives possible!)
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the "mishap", (which really means why the hell didn't you check the cord and off switch.)
