Progressive French Pres. Sarkozy has decided to push France into the modern world by "unveiling" those who hide themselves behind a "veil"!
He does have a slight problem, those who are fully veiled (Burka-d) do not wish to join 2010, they prefer to remain in "anno 0000"! (well their husbands do at least!)
Sarkozy feels that these women need to be available for identity checks whilst discussing their demands for social benefits, unemployment benefits, child benefits, etc.
All other French citizens when claiming their benefits have to prove who they are including a control of photos on ID's.
(Logical for "normal" citizens in such a progressive country?)
These mystical creatures (or their husbands at least) do not believe in such obligations and being Muslims feel that "The Great One" should take care of these minor problems.
France just happens to be a non-Muslim state (who knows for how long?) and these adorable creatures should actually abide by French legislation.
Well "The Great One" has a different opinion, Sarkozy, bad luck.
As for removing the veils from the veiled one's in public places Mr. Sarkozy maybe will have to "bite the bullet" or send rescue teams in to save these "veiled virgins" from the clutches of their ancient (mentally) male partners who prefer the alternative:
Imprisonment.
