Adam and Eve have taked God to small claims court. The pair contend that our Heavenly Father never returned their security deposit when he evicted them from Eden for eating from his fruit tree.
"That's six hundred big ones that he kept and didn't give back to us. I've tried calling and writing, but the man isn't answering my messages and still hasn't returned my money to me," said a frustrated Adam.
"Sure, he gave us this rule that we shouldn't eat his fruits on his apple tree....but they were just going to waste. The apples would get ripe and then fall off or get blown of by the wind or knocked off by the birds. No one was doing anything with it."
"We just wanted an apple crisp and I didn't have time go run to the store," said Eve. "He wants to kick us out for eating a couple of pieces of fruit, that's his business. We did leave the place clean and in good condition and we deserve our deposit money."
A former neighbor in the Garden of Eden, identified only as The Serpent, said that he also never had his deposit returned. "I was kicked out too, and insulted. I was told that I was to crawl on my belly and eat dust....well, that God guy can keep his dust. I think that Adam, Eve, and I have all got a case against him."
"He even put an angel with a flaming sword by the entrace to guard it. That guy is keeping us from going back and getting our stuff, and that's against the law!"
