With a torrent of fireworks and spectacular light-show costing millions, the Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai was opened today.
Surprising the rest of the world and its jealous neighbours Dubai went ahead with the opening although it's a well known fact Dubai is flat broke.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, leader of Dubai, and a nasty job, has offered all of those bankers and financiers involved in the Dubai meltdown a free ride up the towering towers to meet Allah.
They will be allowed to speak to their maker, ask for forgiveness and then JUMP!
Sheikh Khalifa feels its much more humane than chopping off their corrupt hands and wishes also to pay his respects to those who were forced into jumping out of the Twin Towers at 9/11 by offering sacrificial corrupt bankers to the US to prove that all Arabs are not terrorists!
The first ones to make the trip up the towers were quite honoured, "free ride 800 metres above sea level, a quick chat and then a meeting with the "Great One" is an honourable way to repent one's sins," they said.
