The citizens of France were shocked to their very roots, especially the men, as French President Nicolas Sarkozy admitted to Paris reporters that he once talked to a prostitute.
"I will resign immediately if the French people ask me to do it", stated a very meek president.
"It happened in 1999 on a visit to the United States to see my cousin, Pierre, who ran a whorehouse in Reno, Nevada. I was there but a short while but while visiting with Pierre I actually raised my head and this lady walked by and said 'hello' and like a fool, I stated, 'How's the boy?' and she replied, 'Upstairs waiting' and I knew I had compromised myself."
The French President stated that he quickly fled his cousin's place and met him again at an all-you-can-eat French cafe.
"I bring this up now because, one, I want to clear my conscience and, two, the lady has sent me a blackmail note."
Sarkozy blames only himself, his cousin Pierre, the city of Reno and the whole degraded United States of America, for his downfall.
"I talked this over with President Obama during the meeting where he was looking back at the female on the steps. We got to talking it over and he advised me to come out into the open and declare this hideous offense to my family and the French people."
"The family has already accepted my resignation and I now leave it to the people of France to decide my fate."
