Top world economic analysts have concluded that the recession is over after a research carried on by US' Merril Lynch and UK's HBOS.
The study at Merril Lynch was based on the number of condoms sold in the US since March this year. It turned out that this number rose by 36% month on month. The report concluded - "Rising number of people using condoms indicates strong consumer spending and confidence. Furthermore people are not depressed and very confident in the future if they engage in this type of activities."
The HBOS investigated number of condoms sold in the UK since March 2009. It was significantly down and the report said - "Declining number of people using condoms indicates extremely strong consumer confidence. The public is prepared to the ultimate commitment of producing more children. It means they are not worried about the financial situation any more."
Governments of the US and UK praised the reports and issued a joint statement - "The studies showed how important it was to invest billions of the taxpayers money in Merril Lynch and HBOS. Without them we wouldn't know that the recession is over"
