It has been a busy week for Mr Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who has just claimed first prize in the annual Iran's tallest man competition.
The lanky leader who officially measured in at 7 foot 6 said he was "Over the moon with the result". He then joked that obviously he didn't mean literally as he's not that tall.
The former favourite for the title, 7 foot 2 Iranian Basketball star Hamed Haddadi has made claims that extensive tape measure tampering had occurred. A claim which was further supported when video footage emerged of Mr Ahmadinejad buying his clothes from the children's section of Matalan.
World reaction has been mixed. President Obama released a statement saying that he hoped the height of the Iranian people had been accurately represented. He further added that he himself was well over 8 feet tall.
Mr Ahmadinejad was in the news earlier this week for his part in a mildy controversial election decision.
