The leader for life of Libya, Colonel Gaddafi, has arrived in the Italian capital, Rome, for a two day visit. The Libyan leader has decided to visit the Eternal City to acquire a few more assets to increase his considerable wealth.
It is said that he has put down a deposit on prominent Roman buildings such as the Coliseum, The Pantheon, and Hadrian's Arch. He denies a very strong rumour that a negotiation was carried out to buy the entire Vatican State.
Gaddafi it seems is hell bent on seeking revenge for Mussolini's invasion of Libya in 1940 that preceded the Desert War eventually won by the Allies.
The "Strong Man" of North Africa will not be satisfied until he has successfully attained the "jewels" of the Etruscan peninsula. All we can say is good luck Colonel.
