Pope benedict managed to go to a nation with an islamic tradition and not any medieval nutjobs about Muhammad being a son of a bitch bastard. In fact, Benedict spoke well of Islam and expressed hope that Catholicism, Judaism and Islam might be forces for peace in this world.
As for the next world , Pope Benedict had to admit that neithwer jews nor Muslims would be present in heaven since they belong for false religions and engage in idolatry and the worship of false gods. Benedict hoped that the idolatroud Jews and Mohammedans would not take his belief in their eternal damnation personally:
" We are sure that most of you pagans are fine folks. And i hope that you can respect that it is simply out of a dedication to my own faith that I have no doubt that all of you will burn in hell for all eternity ."
