Benedict caught picking his nose.

In an unprecedented move for any Pope, Benedict XVI is to broadcast a twenty-four hour YouTube style broadcast on the internet.

"Bene is, how you say? Down with da kids," said Father Domani. "He knows he can reach millions with da internet."

The new channel will show the various Papal speeches, but to fill the space there will also be Papal out-takes that some hard line Catholics are decrying, saying that they show the pope to be anything but infallible. Video of Benedict tripping on his hem on his way to mass has proven to be extremely popular with non devout Catholics.

Polizia in Italy are watching the videos carefully to see who gets particularly heavy punishment in confession on the understanding they must be very guilty of something, and hauling them in for the type of interrogation only the Italian police can get away with.

"We have had to order extra rubber gloves," said Inspector Indizio Cosi. "On the plus side, we have closed several open investigations, including one serial litter bug."

Father Nick Stuff of Liverpool Cathedral has declared the whole affair ludicrous. "The Pope is sacrosanct, to show such video is irresponsible, and the people responsible shall go to Hell!"

The production company behind the Video channel remain unrepentant. "It's just a laugh, init?" said CEO Lucy Furr. "We all know the Pope's just some geezer in a dress."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
