LOS ANGELES - Cosmetic surgeons in the US are being deluged with requests from American men to have their ears enlarged "to look like Prez Obama".
Dr. Wyatt Eardley. Chief of Surgery at a well-known Hollywood clinic said "There has been such a revolution in America with the election of President Obama that men of all ages, shapes and colors want to pledge their commitment to him by enlarging their ears in a sign of solidarity".
Dr. Eardley said it is usually American women who re-make their bodies to look like their favorite celebrities, but this is the first time that men have made this big move.
"It shows you that it is never too late to change in America. Women went for big, fat lips now men want big, wide ears", said a very happy Dr. Eardley.
For his part, King-in-waiting Prince Charles said he was "absolutely thrilled - I never imagined my looks would have such an impact on men's fashion". When he was reminded that it was Obama that men were emulating, not him, Charles pouted "Well I came first".
