Canton - The origins of the popular mobile Chinese smörgåsbord, Dim Son, have been discovered to be traced back a millennium, or one duck, to the Ming Dynasty which did not star Victoria Principal, Larry Hagman or Bobby.

Master chef to the Emperor Wang Woo was instructed to create a special feast for the emperor Xiang Xi and his court to celebrate turning back ancestors of Tom Wolfe at the Great Wall.

Intended to be a great feast for thousands in the Forbidden City Wang Woo entrusted his eldest child, Dim Son, to plan and execute the great meal and festivities.

Sadly, Dim Son mis-planned the event to the great displeasure of Emperor Xiang Xi and the shame of his father Wang Woo. The meal was not prepared in time for a traditional evening celebration as expected.

Great quantities of food were wheeled out in the morning to the dust bin.

Emperor Xiang Xi happened to be seated in contemplation as the carts passed by and out of curiosity asked what the contents might be. Humbly notifed that it was contents of the great feast the Emperor, spurred on by desires of hunger, tasted the contents and declared them to be remarkably delicious.

The mid-day wheeled treats quickly became a custom at the royal court named for the first born of the master chef to the Emperor, Dim Son.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
