When Italian gal Floridie Fidonato Feroni, 25, who suffers from a rare kind of dwarfism and stopped growing at three foot, nine inches was proposed to by a U.S. Army Captain Erik Goodley six months ago, she was determined to do something about her height.

So the brave Baltimore lady did something about it. She went through several painfull operations and had her legs stretched a full 14 inches.

Floridie's dad stated he was so proud of his girl to do something like that and would be proud to walk down the aisle with her to become Mrs. Erik Goodley but would rather have his daughter do that.

"I'd look pretty silly marrying her fiancee, wouldn't I?" yelled Mr. Feroni who is two foot three.

Imagine the surprise when the groom, Captain Goodley turned up at four foot, eleven inches tall.

Not knowing what his future bride was up to, since he had left to go to Afghanistan, he had had his legs shortened by two feet.

"Is this an O'Henry story or what?" asked the minister, Brother Verber, who's a seven-foot, four-inch former basketball player, after appologizing for stepping on Mr. Feroni.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
