It has been announced that outgoing President George W Bush has been nominated for this years prestigious Nobel Peace prize.
If successful his name will stand alongside other famous recipients such as Kofi Annan, Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa.
A White House spokesman Dr J.Goebbels said that Mr Bush had worked tirelessly for world peace for the last 8 years and had only invaded a couple of countries in that time.
Dr Goebells reminded stunned reporters that the Bush administration had saved the world from Saddam Hussein's 'Weapons of Mass destruction' which could have easily annihilated the entire world if they could have been found.
"Saddam Hussein was a master of deception and was able to make the weapons 'disappear' just as the allied troops were advancing on Baghdad.
Asked if he thought that the nomination was 'a little inappropriate' Dr Goebbels shrugged and retorted "Well that slimy Arab Yasser Arafat won it in 1994 and all he did was murder thousands of Jews!"
"George W Bush has only ever gone to war against evil regimes that deserved everything they got" added Dr Goebbels.
The nomination was put forward by a person named as D.Cheney.
George Bush is 93.
