Following the success of campaigns such as 'ride to work day' and 'walk to work day', the international ecology organisation 'Friends of the Earths Resources' has announced that next Thursday is a day for everyone to 'Drive to work in a hollowed out Panda'.
FOTER spokeswoman Candice Searle is encouraging workers to "take advantage of our smooth, safe roads and the cosy, comfortable confines of a Panda bear whilst making a statement about human dominance."
Ms Searle went on to point to the popularity of such recent campaigns as 'Eat more gorilla week', 'Light a rainforest for peace day' and 'Punt an endangered Lemur month'.
She further hinted that similar initiatives are about to be announced by her colleagues at the 'Make Poverty Popular' foundation.
