Hollywood US - Movie Mogul Steven Spielberg announced today that he has signed a deal to make a film of Gary Glitter's latest escapade.

"I was watching the news last night and saw the story about this Glitter Guy being stuck in an airport terminal and it sort of struck me as funny and I thought, 'Hey, a guy that can't leave an airport terminal in a strange country where he can't even speak the language, that's got to be a winner', so I phoned him straight away", Spielberg told a press conference.

"We had the script knocked up by this afternoon and hope to start filming tomorrow", he added.

There will be scenes where the hapless Glitter has to do odd jobs to make money to buy sweeties and puppies to entice children.

There will also be an hilarious scene where Glitter gets a job as a construction worker and drills peep-holes into all the ladies toilet cubicles.

When told that the film bears an awful similarity to his recent hit "The Terminal" starring Tom Hanks, Spielberg ranted: "I make so many films you can't expect me to remember them all.

Glitter was said to be "over the moon". Yum sing Moon that is, the daughter of the airport manager.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
