Popular Batman actor Heath Ledger will get a posthumous award at a coveted movie awards ceremony later this month, Hollywood executives have confirmed.
The talented actor, who died whilst waiting for his masseur, who was late, about 4 minutes too late to be exact, will be awarded the trophy in what is expected to be a highly emotional event.
A ceremony spokesman today said in a brief statement that Ledger had been considered for the "Most Dead" actor award but lost out to Charlton Heston. He also missed out on the "Most Dead Joker" award which went to Bob Hope. He will however be awarded the newly created award of "Most Dead Gay Cowboy."
The award will be reconsidered if Rene Zellweger's ex-husband, Kenny Chesney, ever dies.
