Virginia Beach - (Apocalyptic Mess): God hates Marxist military dictatorships so much that He sent in His fabled Old Testament typhoon and earthquake machines to run riot through godless hellholes like Myanmar and China.
That was the unrelenting message from Virginia Beach evangelical preacher the Reverend Pat Robertson today.
In a televised address Robertson told fellow Christians to save their $$$s for a rainy, subprime day "instead of lavishing it on the foolish heathens" who are being punished by the Almighty right now.
"That is my Christian Aid Week message," Robertson said.
"The Lord has told me these godless folk have brought it on themselves with their Olympic Games folly.
"And I don't recall a deluge of Chinese military dictatorship money coming to the rescue of poor American folks after Satan unleashed Hurricane Katrina, either."
The Rev Al Sharpton is 69.
