Just last week British Airways launched its new web site eBA to sell all of the misplaced bags and their contents rather than find their rightful owners. Now BA has lost an entire aircraft.
Celebrity spokesperson Daniel Radcliffe made the announcement today on BBC 1 News. "It was a flight from Beijing to Heathrow, a 747 with 500 passengers. This is particularly embarrassing because the Olympic Torch comes through London this weekend. I was personally going to light a pack of my favourite fags with it. Oh well.
"If anyone finds this aircraft please let me know right away. This is a spectacular item to sell on our new site. Imagine the bids we'll get. I want the Captain's hat. I need a new one to replace the stupid looking Diesel cap I wear all the time. You know, the "invisibility" cap. No one knows it's me when I wear it."
However, not all is bad for the airline, illusionist David Copperfield has decided to invite BA as a special guest in his latest Vegas show.
David says "No one can make stuff disappear like British Airways. It's a high art which requires great deal of practice but with these people it comes naturally, just like Daniel Radcliffe who is able to make his clothing disappear in every play he performs. I am so happy to have them on my team."
