In a move to one up the US Navy, Iraqi insurgents strapped explosives to a woman and catapulted her into space, intercepting a falling bus-sized satellite that was threatening to endanger unsuspecting earthlings. Upon impact, the satellite exploded in a dazzling display that evoked images of the exploding "Death Star" from the classic film Star Wars.
"It was a rousing success," said one insurgent who requested to remain anonymous, "Talk about a human cannonball!"
When asked about her role in the campaign moments before her launch, the woman simply said, "(unintelligable) have you seen my goat?"
US State Department officials called the event "kind of embarrassing" but declined further comment.
