Nairobi - Paris Hilton recently announced that her time in prison made her rethink her party image and while she has no regrets, she does want to build on her legacy. She wants to help people in Africa and bring attention to the struggles of people there, especially young sweaty men.
But, now comes the interesting part. 20th Century Fox has announced Hilton and George Clooney will star in a re-make of the "African Queen", which originally starred Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn. Steven Spielberg will be the director and has this to say about working with the troubled heiress, "Well Paris wouldn't have been my first choice, but I wasn't really involved with the casting. However, that being said, I think Paris has the raw talent to be...well let me rephrase that, Paris can definately act and I think a few days in a swamp with leaches will bring that out of her."
George Clooney, a long time supporter for change in Darfur is proud to have a co-star who is also interested in helping Africa. "I think she's great. I mean her vagina aside, I think she can be a great actress and I'm looking forward to working with her. Look, this isn't rocket science okay? We're talking Steven Spielberg. If he could make Oprah Winfrey look like an actress he can certain do it for Paris Hilton."
Shooting for the movie has begun on location and undisclosed location in East Africa, but some scenes will be admittedly shot on the back lots at 20th Century Fox.
