It is Day 4 since the birth of the 2012 London Olympic logo, and with several dead and hundreds injured, there appears to be no end in sight to the carnage.
Local authorities have been unsuccessful in containing the disaster, and all indications are that the logo has metastasized into an ever larger and dangerous organism. A massive wave of epileptic seizures has rapidly spread across Europe and Asia, and there have been a growing number of reports of brain explosions and blindness.
In the meantime, efforts to subdue the monster have been ineffective, and confirmation has been received by the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta that the logo is XDR (Extensively Drug Resistant).
"I've never seen anything like it," said George Hirthler as he surveyed the rubble of his modest London flat. Others took refuge in care centers and the London underground as they tried to make contact with missing loved ones.
At last report, the logo was spotted marching toward Tokyo, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. Evacuation plans are under way and authorities are recommending that all individuals in the path of the logo shield their eyes from its deadly flashing rays and run for their lives.
