A local concerned cow.

Locals were shocked in the Cork airport region as strange lights in the sky baffled local farmers and heavy drinkers in the area last Saturday night.Local cattle were also shocked as cattle mutilaton fears were rife.

Mr Barry Mc Tavish,a local publican, gave this eyewitness report…."I was just getting the last few bowzies out of the pub at about 3 am when I heard this loud thundering noise like a jet engine.I got scared straight away. Then I saw the lights and they flew over my head with a fierce racket. I nearly dropped my pint"

Randy Murphy, a local road wanderer who was active at this time said he never saw strange lights like it in the airport vicinity. "I have wandered these roads for years and have never seen anything like it" he said.

This writer contacted the air traffic control at Cork airport where they released this statement.

We have had in increase in Ryan Air traffic over Ballygarvan in recent weeks giving rise to at least seven late night approaches over the immediate area at weekends. We have to admit there is no connection whatsoever with air traffic and the arrival of creepy aliens in Ballygarvan.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
