The Big Donor Show, in which kidney patients tried to win a healthy kidney, now entitled "Mistake and Kidney" has been revealed by makers Endemol as a huge hoax.
The main player, who was meant to be donating her kidney, has turned out to be a heartless actress, lured onto the show by fame and fortune, but with no intention of donating any body parts.
The contestants, who are all real patients in need of kidneys, are said to be devastated over the attention-grabbing ruse.
In the shows shock final, the remaining two contestants were forced to trampoline over a ravine, free run across the tulip fields of Holland, jump two dykes and bicycle across the Netherlands. The winner on reaching Amsterdam, scaled a top hotel and lowered a refrigerated box to the ground containing the kidney. With a theatre of doctors on standby the kidney patient opened the box to reveal.. an Early Learning Centre plastic kidney.
"I was gutted," said the winner,"literally, I was gutted."
Endemol today commented, "Hey, we hoaxed everyone, there was nothing racist in this show. No apologies necessary."
