The Vatican has today released information regarding the new shrine to be built to the newly proven "Virgin Birth" by a female shark in captivity.
The shrine will be built alongside the Henry Doorly Zoo in Nebraska, where the shark gave birth to a pup in 2001 despite having had no contact with a male, and hopes to attract catholics the world over to bathe in its sacred waters.
The Catholic Church recognised the birth as " a miracle" once it had been scientifically proven.
The female shark will be canonised along with 4,560 frogs and 2 lizards.
The baby shark was tragically killed by a stingray hours after its birth. Stingrays are of course traditionally responsible for the deaths anything remotely saintly .A Vatican spokesman commented, "It died so that we might live"
