The Elizabeth the Second who has been the Queen in the world since the fifties, is rumoured to be the favourite for this year's race to be the Greatest Briton 2007
The Queen has shown some excellent form this season, winning in other races over jumps earlier in the month. The going is said to be good to firm.
She is way out in front and early indications show that she is bound to win. A friend of mine told The Spoof that it's worth putting a fiver on her winning so we nipped down to the bookies earlier and had a flutter. I will probably spend the winnings on binge drinking or a holiday in Cornwall.
Other entries include Robbie Williams, Hercule Poirot and Harry Potter but they have been described as twats with no chance of even getting close.
