A writer on satirical news website TheSpoof.com has reacted to criticism over material he publishes on the site by promising more of the same old shite.

The writer, who wishes to remain nameless, said earlier that, despite the fact that there may be other readers on the site who do not seem to appreciate the mundanity of the material he produces, this is, in essence, his reality, whether others like it or not.

Responding to the claim that he doesn't attack anything, such as government, authority figures or political ideologies, and that he may be one of a group of "weak snowflakes" who are afraid to write something genuinely satirical because they might express an actual opinion, the writer said:
