Homer Simpson received a Christmas surprise when a group of muggers went on a festive buying spree and emptied the shops of all his CDs and merchandise.
Mr Simpson and his American born wife were shocked by the mindless actions of the muggers saying that they had denied other fans the pleasure of buying his merchandise.
‘Only British scum would be capable of committing such a despicable act,' he stated.
‘My talents are recognised worldwide and it is unfair that a small group of criminals should be responsible for giving me 99% of my income.'
‘It's not easy being a mega-star,' he wept.
'Why pick on me. They could have bought Sooty or Orville the duck movies and left one of two of my CDs for my genuine fans.'
‘Every decent person should be able to buy my stuff, in safety, on any high-street in the land without muggers beating them to my goodies'.
