Bond villain Vladamir Putin has been announced in the new line-up of the upcoming action movie sequel 'the Expendables 4'.
Mr Putin, who is said to be 'thrilled' at getting the part, was announced as one of the stars of the new film by actor and producer Sylvester Stallone earlier today. it is anticipated that the Russian President will play a cold-war era nemesis to the franchises' regular line-up of crack(-ed hip) stars of action movie folklore. Those expected to return to the cast will include Chuck 'the beard' Norris and of course Mr Stallone himself (a comment was sought from Mr Stallone, however reporters were unable to translate into English for the purposes of this publication).
When asked how he will prepare for his movie debut, Mr Putin said he would 'embrace every element of his character, which will of course include the invasion of ex-Soviet satellite states, the oppression of ethnic minorities and generally 'camping it up' during bear hunts'.
Hollywood Producer bigwig Harvey Weinstein, whose production company bankrolls the Expendables franchise, was quoted as saying 'Vlad brings a likeness to the role few can pull off. His ability to subjugate homosexuals whilst carrying an outlandishly homoerotic air is unparalleled and I'm sure he'll be a great baddy'.
Mr Putin is expected on set of the new film when shooting starts in Kiev in the very near future.
