Since Kim is the only one in the country with a real Internet connection and not just the fake ones he lets the other "higher-ups" use, Kim is the only one in North Korea who really realizes what is going on in the rest of the world. As Kim has told foreign reporters, he wants to shield his people from all the falsehoods and sadness on the Internet.
