The South Eastern seaboard City of Sydney in Australia is to change its name by popular vote to Godfrey Eggbert City.
The name Sydney is considered too sissy a name for Australia's stingray hugging crocodile embracing new image.
The new name will co-incide with the topping out of the new Opera House skyscraper building, The Turd. Designed by the London architect responsible for the Turtle's Head Tower in Regent Street, the new Opera House will be 800 storeys high.
Sir Les Patterson will be performing the City name changing ceremony and will release trillions of Kookaburra birds while a band plays "Waltzing Matilda."
