Iceland's new aircraft carrier the Nelson Mandela will be christened in early February of 2014.

REYKJAVIK, Iceland - Iceland has just announced that it will be naming its brand new state-of-the-art aircraft carrier in honor of South African President Nelson Mandela.

A spokesperson for the Icelandic government stated that originally the aircraft carrier was going to be named The Ice Princess, but a huge majority of the Icelandic people asked that it be named in honor of President Mandela.

Plans are to christen the vessel in early February in front of members of the Nelson Mandela family including his great grandson Nootimbu Nelson Fatinta who is a stand up comedian who uses the professional stage name Lion Boy.

The Nelson Mandela will be stationed at Reykjavik Harbor and will help defend Iceland from any attack from that lunatic North Korean Kim Jong Un.

SIDENOTE: According to reports the aircraft carrier is one of the largest in the entire world and it will have a total of 7 McDonald's located throughout the ship.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
