See what I mean?

Afghanistan - His signature green/purple-striped Chapan coat is regarded the world over as the epitome of ethnic chic earning him the Kabulshit Times' ultimate accolade of Hot Dresser of the Year 2013.

Unfortunately all that sartorial attention may have gone to Hamid Karzai's head according to a lawsuit filed at Blackpool County Court in North West UK where the Afghan leader is suing the seaside resort's Recreation & Leisure Department for millions of dollars compensation for 'taking the piss'.

Depositions seen by QM-NewsCorpse reporters allege the Brit resort has 'plagiarised and therefore cheapened' Karzai's inimitable haute couture garment by using similar fabric on its beachside deckchairs.

Up to 1,000 of Blackpool's folding seats have been refurbished using the same-patterned canvas as one that makes up Karzai's coat prompting one of his Taleban personal shopping advisers to quip that the Afghan leader would be well camouflaged if he ever takes in the sunshine in Lancashire's premier resort.

Commenting on the lawsuit a Blackpool former mayor said today the entire legal action is 'bullsh*t' because the Town Hall owns the copyright to this particular bit of plaid.

"It's the Afghan leader who should be paying us royalties and not vice-versa," Councillor Rowan Jimi-Ssavil (no relation) quipped this afternoon.
