A leaked memo from an undisclosed source has confirmed that Sarah Palin will ban the year 2013 if she is elected next year as the President of the United states.
The memo comes just days after the Union of Triskaidekaphobes confirmed that people across the United States who suffer from a fear of the number 13 will vote for anyone at all who will ban the year 2013.
"That's right," said one leading Triskaidekaphobe. "We'd vote for a donkey if we thought it would save us from the horror of a whole year living under the fear of the number we don't even like to say out loud."
Suffers of Triskaidekaphobia are thought to number in the multitudes and political watchers believe they are the new secret majority who could swing the vote Sarah Palin's way.
Barack Obama is said to be consulting with numerologists to see if it would be practical before he takes the plunge and declares he might ban the offending year, too.
But Sarah Palin doesn't worry about things like, she's from Alaska. They've got other things to worry about than changing the calendars, like getting eaten by polar bears, etc.
