Washington,D.C.-During his weekly radio address Saturday, President Obama calmly declared that "Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday."
"All your fears about run away inflation? Gas prices through the roof? Seemingly no way out? That's all true!", the president intoned during the broadcast."Housing prices? Consumer confidence? Debt ceiling? Don't even get me started on bailouts."
"Nothing I have tried has worked. Nothing I'm even contemplating using is going to work. Let's face it,Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday."
During the republican rebuttal no words were spoken, just the unmistakable lilting laughter of Republican Congressman, Paul Ryan. "I'm sorry," Mr. Ryan said when reached for comment afterwards. I had a speech all laid out. It was designed to restore consumer confidence and stability to the market, but all I could think about is what a cakewalk the 2012 elections are going to be for republicans."
