A recent influx of males to a local emergency room in Buffalo, NY caused a stir in the medical research community there two days ago.

The males, all reported to be between the ages of 18 and 60, reported to the emergency center of Buffalo International Hospital with severe cramps of the hand.

"Such an influx is quite the conundrum", stated Dr. Olaf Himmelberger, speaking about the numbers afflicted.

It was determined that the males were all stranded motorists in the recent snowstorm in Buffalo that forced traffic to a standstill on Tuesday.

"Well, when you gotta go, you gotta go", said Bill Phlem, a truck driver from Poughkipsee.
"It just seemed like the logical thing to do", he added, alluding to writing his name, favorite country-western artists, and trucking company address in the snow.

Soon after, he began to experience excruciating pain in his right hand and wrist.

The story was the same for some 243 other males, all who reported writing names, poetry, rap lyrics, and racial slurs in the snow while urinating prior to experiencing pain in the hand and wrist.

Our medical research team was called in to interview the patients", said Dr. Himmelberger.
"We had to determine whether or not we had a pandemic on our hands. Thankfully, it was just "the dumbass snow urination syndrome" which is easily treated if diagnosed on time".

Dr. Himmelberger plans to publish a blog post by Saturday warning males of the dangers of using urine and snow as a writing platform.

In his post he will recommend that males who have a propensity to write in the snow while urinating take measures to instead use a mobile device with publishing capabilities.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
