In an upcoming chat with Barbara Walters, something Walters stated she had quit doing two years ago, former Vice Presidential candidate and Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin says that she could beat Obama in the 2012 election.
The segment will come as a part of Walters: The Ten Most Fascinating People Of 2010 and will appear in early December.
In one segment shown last night as a preview, Palin says that she was "Looking at the lay of the land."
When asked what she meant by that, she told Walters that from her house she could see Russia.
"If I can keep an eye on Russia and another on China and the other on Iran, then I'll have a better, more knownable idea about the 2012 presidential election."
"Knownable? Is that a word?"
"It is now."
After viewing the preview, Palin came out and talked with reporters, including our own Tooter Day.
"You really think you can beat President Barack Obama in 2010?", asked one reporter?
"Listen, if the next two years go as they are now and we're still a nation, my on & off son in law could beat Barack Obama!"
