Dick Cheney appeared publicly for the first time today at the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Library in Houston, TX.
The former vice president, looking frail, tired and sickly, gave renewed hope to billions of human beings that his death is imminent.
It was obvious that Cheney appears to be in constant pain, putting smiles on countless faces of those who, although they hate him so much they wish he were dead now, could take solace in the fact that his final days on this earth are an unceasing torment.
It is unknown at press time whether his physical suffering is accompanied by a commensurate level of mental anguish that robs him of any hope of peace in his waning moments on earth and makes his final hours a preview of the hell to which he is so deservedly damned.
We can only hope.
