Alan Greene kicked off his campaign against Republican Senator Jim DeMint yesterday by announcing a jobs program. He is proposing Bubble Head Dolls of himself and says that it will put hundreds of people to work.
Although described as "off beat" by the pundits and politicians, several manufacturers have come forth with proposals.
Mr. Greene said, "What has DeMint done for jobs? What has DeMint done for the unemployed other than to vote against continuing their benefits? I wouldn't be so quick to laugh! Compare our records."

Greene went on to say, "Jim DeMint said that health care reform would be Obama's Waterloo. I say that Alan Greene will be DeMint's shit out of luck moment. Compare our records.
"Ask yourself, has Alan Greene done anything to hurt you, South Carolina, or our country? The answer is no. Now ask yourself the same question about Jim DeMint. Got the picture?"
Greene was asked by a reporter if he would represent all the people of South Carolina and not just the interests of Black people. Greene replied: "Of course I would represent all of the people of South Carolina. Some of my best friends are Ofay's!"
