Vice President Joe Biden stunned the world today by actually saying something appropriate and smart. What he said was, "It sure is a nice summer day."
The accuracy and pleasant nature of this statement caused bystanders to question whether this was actually Joe Biden and not a terrorist double sent to infiltrate the White House.
"I almost fainted," onlooker, Rita Romtweet remarked. "I mean, here was Joe Biden, saying something accurate and pleasant. He almost seemed, well, kind of intelligent."
The Obama administration is handling this occurrence on a two-fold front. First, they are considering allowing Mr. Biden more opportunities to stand before the press and express his own mind. Secondly, they are investigating to see if this is indeed the real Vice President of the United States.
"If he is a terrorist," Ms. Romtweet offered, "I hope he reforms. He'd make a great Joe Biden."
