Many don't know who Dale Peterson from Alabama is, but if you are keeping track of the race for Alabama Agricultural Commissioner this year, you can't miss him. He's the one with the horse, the rifle, and the threat to shoot anyone who goes after his running mate's political lawn signs.Dale Peterson-Get Away From That!

Peterson, himself, was originally running for the GOP nomination to become Alabama's next Agricultural Commissioner, but even his spiffy ad campaign showing him riding a horse with a rifle in hand and slinging up political threats like Tuesday's hash wasn't enough to get him the nomination.

But Peterson isn't your ordinary poor loser when it comes to the GOP; he's more of a team player. That's why after his loss, he continues to throw his support behind one of the guys who beat him, John McMillan. More importantly, he doesn't just take verbal shots at the other candidate in this ad, he actually shoots at a guy who is supposedly stealing a John McMillan yard sign.

"Don't you wish you had Dale Peterson watching your back?" says the voiceover at the end of the ad. Sure, what the hell. Why conduct civilized elections when you can just bully someone into voting the way you want them to by threatening to shoot them?

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
