In a study released today, the Center For Mental and Physical Health, in Rochester, Minnesota, has announced a study showing that the worst four words that a man can hear in his entire life are, "Is it in yet?"
The study used a set of four words that reflect the effect of words on a male's ability to cope with stress at various periods of his life. The series of questions show the degree of upset both mentally and physically of those questioned.
The results are as follows:
You wife is cheating: 76%
You lost your job 81%
Your handicap is 15 84%
You've got the clap 87%
You have terminal cancer 98%
Is it in yet? 100%
Although the results were not a surprise to those psychologists that conducted the survey it did come as a shock for most of the female participants who were asked the same general questions re: worst four words a person could hear:
Your husband is cheating 73%
Your mascara is running 79%
Sister's marrying a millionaire 84%
Husband has the clap 93%
"You in the mood?" 97%
Is it in yet? (husband's paycheck) 100%
In follow up question, participants were asked,"Does size really matter?"
Females: "No, not at all. He gets regular raises."
Males: "More than life itself."
