Congressman Barney Frank, sensitive to the growing number of gays and lesbians in his state, yesterday voted to retain the controversial "don't ask, don't tell" provision that gives military flame throwers an exit strategy if they don't want to serve in combat areas.
In explaining his reasoning, Congressman Frank cited the fact that women serving in the Navy can easily get pregnant to avoid being deployed on ships that are leaving for six month cruises; the same for gals in the Army who wish to avoid being sent back to Iraq and Afghanistan for the summer.
Barney went on: "Why should the Military be allowed to discriminate against gays? "Who ever heard of a guy getting pregnant taking it up the butt? Same with lesbians. How in hell can they compete on the same field with straight gals who like dick?"
Who would have thunk it? Barney is always one step ahead of conventional thinkers.
