Although First Lady Michelle Obama's shimmering blue gown by Peter Soronen dazzled guests at Wednesday night's state dinner for Mexican President Felipe Calderon and his wife, Margarita Zavala, it was Congressman Barney Frank who stole the show by dropping his tea bags on his partner's nose while dancing to a Mexican rendition of "Moon River."
Barney, who admits to not handling tequila shooters well, was also wearing a gown, a black strapless design by Crossover Images. His partner of two years, Rooster Booster, was dressed appropriately, wearing a black leather vest, with a white thong and lavander sandals.
It was well past midnight when celebrity Whoopie Goldberg, who was also in her cups, climbed on the stage, grabbed the microphone and yelled, "Drop Trou." That's all Barney Frank needed to hear. He whipped his tea bags out so fast that his partner, Rooster, was momentarily stunned. Regaining his composure, he fell down on his back and did the turtle while Congressman Frank yiped like a ravenous, wing-nut hound.
Luckily, President Calderon and his wife were spared this spectacle because they both succumbed to Montezuma's revenge, having eaten the heavily spiced Guatemalan ceviche appetizer.
Just another routine State Dinner hosted by the Obama's.
