Charlottesville, VA. - Today at commencement ceremonies at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA., President Obama unveiled his new plan to save the Earth.

Reading from a prepared statement the President said that all of us are aware and responsible for the overburdened environment.

"In these new and uncharted waters we will all have to make sacrifices. So I am introducing legislation that would offer benefits to any family when someone in that family does not seek treatment when confronted with a serious medical condition."

Obama admits that this was a hard decision, but explained that by looking into his heart, and encouraging others to do the same, it is the right thing for American, and the Earth.

The family of someone opting for this would in return receive a tax credit for burial expenses. Also the family would receive a bronze medallion with Obama's image on one side, and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on the other along with the deceased's name and date of death.

This medallion can be placed at the grave site or proudly displayed at the family's home.

Obama finished his speech, saying: "People may say we can't save the planet but I say 'Yes We Can'!"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
