A naked woman at the Mardi Gras festival didn't want to put on her clothes, so the police wrestled her to the ground and tasered her multiple times. The crowd booed the woman and called her names as she struggled with police.
The incident occurred just before nightfall at the festival. The drunken woman who was in her forties and was wearing a rainbow colored cap decided to take her clothing off in front of a crowd. People called her disgusting and they screamed at her to put on her clothing. When she refused to cover up her body the police was called.
Four officers approached her and tried to convince her to put her clothing on but she refused as she taunted the crowd with her buttocks. The enraged crowd then began spitting at her and tossing soda in her face.
The police held back the crowd while they tasered the woman multiple times. One officer held her in a choke hold then threw her to the ground while another pressed his taser gun into her shoulder to deliver a much stronger electrical current.
She was handcuffed and carried into the back of a police car as the crowd followed and made fun of her.
