Shares of Barsucks Corp. edged up by 1/16th of a cent today after the company announced that in a bid to find new niches, it was opening its first outlet on death row.
The outlet, to be opened at a Harris County, Texas death row is the first among a planned rollout by Barsucks among the nation's death rows.
Explaining the new location, manager for alternative locations, Cindy Liphardt, told presspersons:
"We are always looking for innovative store locations. The new death row locations has been decided upon after many prisoners scheduled for execution ended up asking for a latte or a Frappucino to be served to them as part of their last meal.
"We have chosen Harris county as the location for our first death row store, because it has the highest frequency of executions in the country. We are excited by this new opportunity to serve our customers one last time before they make their exit".
