Regular Brit Spoof forum participants have recently began to realise that some of their US colleagues live on a different "Satirical Planet"!

Recent forum altercations between some US Spoofers and their Brit colleagues have proven that satirical humour, ranting and general spoofing about is to be compared with speaking Mandarin and understanding Finnish!

Certain Brit/Canadian (sorry VC!) Spoofers with their witty one-liners and brilliant comments are being confronted by paragraphs of satirical gobleddegook by their US counterparts and the two are failing to connect, hence long winded, meaningless threads resulting in the third world war!

A recent example was that a certain Kennedy follower accused Jaggedone of not being funny whilst obliterating a proven manslaughterer into a thousand literary pieces!

While the world jumps on the disgraceful publicity bandwagon, praising this nobody into being a great hero, Jaggedone decided to rant about the perverse attention being given to Dead Ted!

The Spoof was certainly not meant to be highly humourous, slightly "black" maybe, but a poignant statement to the Spoof readership about how sometimes "hero worshipping can be totally misplaced!"

US Mr. Ashville Jack, with all respect, missed the boat completely, failed to understand the black humour and message involved and thought the whole thing tasteless!

So be it, is not only there to make people laugh, satire in whatever form has a duty to expose such perversions!

Unfortunately such exposure is mostly "tasteless" but it still requires in - depth thinking to equate the message being transmitted, funny or not, sometimes US and Brit satire seems to come from two very different planets, maybe we should invite Aliens to arbitrate!

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
